To white label marketplace, admin panel and customer self-service portal URL, follow these steps:
Service provider/ partner share sub-domains. Partners share sub-domains with service providers, while service providers share with administrators of the automation platform.
You can create new sub-domains under existing TLD (xyz.com) that has wild card SSL, or you can also buy a separate domain to host the automation platform. Here, you need to create minimum 2 sub-domains, one for the marketplace and one for the automation platform’s admin panel as well as customer self-service portal.
Below are some examples of sub-domains.
Description | Sub-Domain | Comment |
Marketplace | This will be marketplace URL
Automation Platform Admin Panel | managemarketplace.xyz/adminp | This will be URL for Automation Platform Admin Panel |
Customer Self-Service Portal | managemarketplace.xyz/memberp | This will be URL for customer self-service portal |
OR
Description | Sub-Domain | Comment |
Marketplace | This will be marketplace URL
Automation Platform Admin Panel | This will be URL for Automation Platform Admin Panel
Customer Self-Service Portal | This will be URL for customer self-service portal |
Please ensure your TLD (Top Level Domain) has a valid wild card SSL.

Once the URL’s are created, Service Provider/Partner share SSL certificate and key. Next, you need to complete the DNS pointing. Follow these steps:
The first step to this would be creating your DNS CNAME and pointing the same to the default URL created by the automation platform. For example, cloud.xyz.com must be pointed to partner127627.yourdomain.com
A similar process should be followed in the automation platform’s admin panel. The URL here must be pointed to the default URL.
Once the steps are completed by the service provider, a support ticket is raised with the automation platform to make changes in it.
The domain administrators of the automation platform map URL to partner127627.yourdomain.com from backend. You need to share SSL certificates and key to get this process started.
DNS propagation can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours to fully start working. |
