Overview

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter

To access the Datacenter management section:

-          Go to Settings.

-          Select Datacenter in the Assets section.

In the Datacenter section, you can configure a complete datacenter and manage all your datacenters.

All the datacenters that you have configured are listed in the Datacenter section as shown in the following screenshot.

The details about each datacenter is listed in the below given sequence.

-          Datacenter Type – Datacenter Name – Datacenter Code No. – Surcharge (Additional fee levied on a product/service by a datacenter) – Location

  • Add New Datacenter

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Add Datacenter

To add a new datacenter:

-          Click on the Add Datacenter button. A new window will open as shown in the screenshot below.

-          In it, select the type of datacenter (Internal/External) and enter the other details about the new datacenter.

-          In the Escalation Matrix field, enter the details of datacenter managers to whom the issue can be escalated in case of an emergency.

-          Click on the Save button.

Automation Platform Express Program Partner

The Automation Platform Express Program's Partners can add/edit or delete their own Datacenters, if the main company allows him to sell his own products and services.

  • Edit Datacenter Details

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter 

To edit the details of an existing datacenter:

-          Click on the Edit icon located in front of the datacenter’s name that you want to edit.

-          In the Edit Datacenter window, make the desired changes you want to make in the datacenter details.

-          Click on the Update button.

  • Delete a Datacenter

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter

To delete a datacenter:

-          Click on the Delete icon located in front of the datacenter’s name that you want to delete.

Datacenter to which a floor is assigned cannot be deleted.

View Complete Datacenter Layout Details

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter  (Click on a DC name) >> Datacenter Floor Diagram

To view the complete infrastructure or layout details of a datacenter:

-          Click on a Datacenter Name in the Datacenter section.

-          This will open the Datacenter Floor Diagram that shows all the datacenter rooms on each datacenter floor.

-          Click on a Datacenter Room to open the Datacenter Room Diagram that shows the all the rows with their racks in the room.

-          Click on a Rack to open the Datacenter Rack details.

-          In the Datacenter Rack Details section, you can view complete details about the datacenter rack with detailed Rack Diagram.
