How to order Azure Reserved Instance Subscription through the Automation Platform?

Overview

This article helps you to understand the process to order Azure Reserved Instance Subscription in the automation platform.

An Azure Reserved Instance (RI) is a VM (virtual machine) on Microsoft Azure public cloud. It is reserved for dedicated use on a one or three-year basis.

Azure RIs need a one-time, upfront payment and offer customers a discount of up to 72% when compared to Microsoft's standard on-demand, pay-per-use VM pricing model.

The RI will be applicable on VM Plans/series.
