Knowledgebase Category

To access the Knowledgebase Category section from Automation Platform's Dashboard:

-          Select Support from the main menu, and then select Knowledgebase > Category > List from the dropdown.

This section lists all the categories created for your knowledgebase. You can also create new categories for your knowledgebase.

Under these categories, you can create FAQs/ articles. For ex, for all Horde Mail related queries/articles, add a category as Horde mail and add all articles/questions within it.

  • Add a New Category

Home >> Support >> Knowledgebase >> Category >> List >> Add Category

Click on the Add Category button shown in the following screenshot:

The Add Knowledgebase Category form will open up shown in the screenshot below:

Fill up this form by taking guidance from the tool tips placed in front of each field.

-          To create a new parent category, select nothing in the parent category.

-          To create a sub category, select the name of the category in the parent category under which this sub category has to be created.

Click on the Save button to create the category.

  • Edit a Category

Home >> Support >> Knowledgebase >> Category >> List

-            Click on the Edit icon in front of the category name.

-            A form will appear same as Add New Category but, already filled.

-            Make the desired changes.

-            Click on the Save button.

  • Delete a Category

Home >> Support >> Knowledgebase >> Category >> List

         To delete a category, click on the Delete icon in front of the category name.

Knowledgebase Articles

Home >> Support >> Knowledgebase >> Articles >> List

To access the Knowledgebase Articles section from your Automation Platform dashboard:

-          Select Support from the main menu, and then select Knowledgebase > Articles > List from the dropdown.

This section lists all the articles in your knowledgebase. Here, you can also add new articles for your knowledgebase.

  • Add a New Article

Click on the Add Articles button as shown in the following screenshot:

The Add Knowledgebase Article form will open up as shown in the screenshot below:

Fill up this form. The fields are described as under.

-          Category – Select the category within which you want to place this article. Categories are created before creating articles as discussed above.

-          Article Title – Enter the title of the article.

-          Views  – This field auto-updates to show unique visits on an article.

-          Display Order – Select the order (number) at which you want to display this article in the selected category.

-          Article Body – Write the description of the article.

Click on the Preview button to see a preview of the article.

Click on the Add Article button to save the article.

Click on the Cancel Button to discard the article. 

  • Edit an Article

Home >> Support >> Knowledgebase >> Articles >> List 

Click on the Edit icon in front of the article title.

A form will appear, same as that of Add Knowledgebase Article but, already filled.

Make the desired changes.

Click on the Update Article button to save the changes.

  • Delete an Article

To delete an article, click on the Delete icon in front of the article title.
