Configure & Manage DC Floor
Overview
Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Floor
To access the datacenter floor section:
- Click on the Datacenter Floor button in the Datacenter section.
- In the Datacenter Floor section, the details about each datacenter floor is listed in the below given sequence below the datacenter name.
- Datacenter Floor Name/Number – Room Name/Number – Rack Name/Number

Add New Datacenter Floor
Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Floor >> Add Floor
To add a new floor to a datacenter:
- Click on the Add Floor button in the Datacenter Floor section.
- This will open up the Add Datacenter Floor window, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Select a Datacenter Name on which a floor is being added from the dropdown list.
- Enter the Datacenter Floor Name/Number.
- Click on the Save button.

Edit Datacenter Floor Details
Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Floor >> Edit Datacenter Floor
To edit the details of a datacenter floor:
- Click on the Edit icon in front of the floor name that you want to edit.
- This will open the edit datacenter floor window, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Make the desired changes in the datacenter floor details.
- Click on the Update button.

Delete Datacenter Floor
Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Floor
To delete a datacenter floor:
- Click on the Delete icon located in front of the datacenter floor name/number that you want to delete.
Datacenter floors with rooms assigned to them cannot be deleted.
Search/Filter Datacenter Floors
Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Floor
To search/filter the datacenter floors from the complete list of datacenter floors based on some specific parameters:
- Click on the Search/Filter button in the Datacenter Floor section to open the search form.
- Add parameters by which you want to search the datacenter floors.
- Click on the Search button.
