Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Room

To access the datacenter room section:

-          Click on the Datacenter Room button in the Datacenter section.

-          In the Datacenter Room section, the details about each datacenter room is listed in the below given sequence below the datacenter name & the floor name/number to which it belongs.

-          Room Name/Number – Rack Name/Number

  • Add New Datacenter Room

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Room >> Add Datacenter Room

To add a new room to a datacenter floor:

-          Click on the Add Room button.

-          This will open up the Add Datacenter Room window, as shown in the screenshot below.

-          Select the Datacenter Name & then select Datacenter Floor Name/Number from the dropdown list.

-          Enter the new Room Name./Number

-          Click on the Save button.

  • Edit Datacenter Room Details

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Room >> Edit Datacenter Room

To edit the details of a datacenter room:

-          Click on the Edit icon in front of the room name/number that you want to edit.

-          This will open the edit datacenter room window, as shown in the screenshot below.

-          Make the desired changes in the datacenter room details.

-          Click on the Update button.

  • Delete Datacenter Room

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Room

To delete a datacenter room:

-          Click on the Delete icon located in front of the datacenter room name/number that you want to delete.

Datacenter rooms with rows assigned to them cannot be deleted.

  • Search/Filter Datacenter Rooms

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Room

To search/filter the datacenter rooms from the complete list of datacenter rooms based on some specific parameters:

-          Click on the Search/Filter button in the Datacenter Room section to open the search form.

-          Add parameters by which you want to search the datacenter rooms.

-          Click on the Search button.
