Configure & Manage DC Rack

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Rack

To access the datacenter rack section:

-          Click on the Datacenter Rack button in the Datacenter section.

-          In the Datacenter Rack section, the details about each datacenter rack is listed in the below given sequence.

-          Datacenter Name – Datacenter Floor Name/Number – Room Name/Number – Rack Name/Number – Rack U

• Add New Datacenter Rack

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Rack >> Add Rack

To add a new rack to a datacenter:

-          Click on the Add Rack button.

-          This will open up the Add Datacenter Rack window, as shown in the screenshot below.

-          Select the Datacenter name followed by the Datacenter, Floor, Room and Row to which you want to add the new rack.

-          Select the Rack Name and enter the Rack U.

-          Click on the Save button.

• Delete a Datacenter Rack

To delete a rack from a datacenter:

-          Click on the Delete icon located in front of the datacenter rack that you want to delete.

• Search/Filter Datacenter Racks

Home >> Settings >> Assets >> Datacenter >> Datacenter Rack

To search/filter the datacenter racks from the complete list of datacenter racks based on some specific parameters:

-          Click on the Search/Filter button in the Datacenter Rack section to open the search form.

-          Fill up the fields by which you want to search the datacenter racks.

-          Click on the Search button.
