Server Template

Home >> Settings >> Products/Services >> Server Template

In the Server template section, you can add, edit and delete the server templates in different server groups.

To access the Server template section:

-          Go to Settings.

-          Select Server Template in the Products/Services section.

In the Server Template section, the details about all server templates are listed within the respective server groups in the below given sequence.

  • Create New Server Template

Home >> Settings >> Products/Services >> Server Template >> Add New

To create a new Server Template:

-          Click on the Add New button.

-          This will open the Add Server Template window, as shown in the below screenshot.

-          Select a Server Group under which you want to create the new server template.

-          Enter the Name of the New Server template, add a Description and select the Applicable Datacenter for the Server template.

-          Clone the Server template to copy selected server's infrastructure and resources to it for further modification.

-          Click on the Save button.

  • Edit Details of a Server Template

Home >> Settings >> Products/Services >> Server Template 

To edit an existing Server Template:

-          Click on the Edit icon located in front of the Server Template’s name that you want to edit.

-          This will open the Edit Server Template window.

-          Make desired changes in the Server Template details.

-          Click on the Add Product button to add other products in this server Template from other product family.

-          Click on the Update button.

  • Delete a Server Template

Home >> Settings >> Products/Services >> Server template

To delete an existing Server template:

Click on the Delete icon located in front of the Server template’s name that you want to delete.

Server template in use anywhere within the system cannot be deleted.
