Edit Product Name

In this section, you can change name and description of a product.

To edit a product name:

  • Navigate to the Product Name you want to edit.

  • Click on Edit Product Name.

  • This will take you to the product details page.

Below is an in-depth description of the product details page:

  • Product Name: Describe name of the product.

  • Tax Group: Select taxes that would be applicable on products within this product group.

  • Markup: Select the amount to be added to the cost price to cover overheads and profit.

  • Estimated Delivery Time: Date and time when the product is supposed to be delivered.

  • Unit of Measurement: This is used as a standard unit of measurement.

  • Service Accounting/HSN code: Define Service Accounting/HSN code here. This will be visible in the invoice created.

  • Item Code: This code is used to identify specific item.

  • Auto Renewal: If checked, then product will be applicable for auto-renewal of service.

  • Module Name: Select appropriate module name for the product.

  • Country: These are the applicable countries defined under product. Customers under those countries only will be able to purchase or upgrade that product/service.

  • Invoice Billing Model: The last option on the product details page is Invoice Billing Model. Here, you will have to choose from two options:
    a) General Billing Method
    b) Fixed Billing Method

    Choose an appropriate option according to your requirement. If you choose a General Billing Method, then the invoices will be generated as soon as an order is processed, and if you choose Fixed Billing Method, then the invoices will be generated on a fixed date as set by the admin. For example, if you select 10 as Fixed Billing Date, then the invoice will be generated on 10th of every month.
